In the UEFA Champions League final Inter Milan beat Bayern Munich 2-0 to win their first European title in 45 years.
The game played at Barnebau,Madrid was a very high tempered game as all the football fans all around the world had their eyes on it.
Bayern who are in a European final after 10years and on the verge of winning their 4th title unable to make an impact as they feel the absence of Frank Ribery a lot.
The Italians started their game opposite to their nature and tried to attack on the German defence rather defencing their goals. The Bavarian took full advantage of this and tried to hold on the possession.Robben was looking on top from the beginning as he was creating very close chances of goal in counter attacking.
As the FCB was unable to brake the defence of the Nerazzurri the game was neither for taking with 35 minutes on clock. But suddenly a long kick from Julio Cesar caught the Bavarian's defence open having Snijder and Millito on the front. These to mixed up well to begin the score with a Dieago Millito goal.
After the half time Bayern came back well as they had a brilliant chance of equalising just seconds after coming as Altintop's cross caught Thomas Muller just out side the Italian box.But
Milan was looking tough as the Brazilian keeper make a save out of top drawer with a shot from Muller.
The FC Hollywood tried hard to came back level in terms as Schweinsteiger and Robben tried the goal from distance and came out with nothing.
Inter won the game with 20 minutes remaining on the clock as the Argentinian striker mixed with Samuel Eto'o well to score his second on the night.
The Bavarians hardly created a chance after they were 2-0 down and at last lost the cup.
The Nerazzurri won the cup for the first time in their history and won the historic trio of Serie A,Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.
