Arsenal thrashed Porto 5-0 to get through with 6-2 on aggregate

Gunners Arsenal proved to be heavy weight at home for the Portuguese Dragons Porto-
The second leg of the Champions league played at the Emirate stadium between Arsenal and Porto was supposed to be a night mare for the Portuguese side.Arsenal started the game well although they were down 2-1 in the first leg and open their scoring at 9th minute from kick off by Nicklas Bendtner.The Denmark international made the score 2-0 after just 25th minute scoring his second of the night.The Portuguese Dragons tried hard in the first half but unable break the packed defence of the Gunners.Till the end of the 1st half the English club was leading 2-0.
After the 2nd half starts the Dragons tried with their full force to equalize on the aggregate but unable to do so.But at the 63rd minute Samuel Nasri scored an absolutely brilliant goal by beating three Portuguese defender.After Nasri scored the third for the Gunners then it is all about them for attacking.On the 65th minute from a Porto corner the Gunners took advantage and scored the fourth on the night by Emanuel Eboue.The goal was scored with an assist from Arshavin who had shown some great dribbling skills which left the defenders for dare.At the 90th minute Bendtner completed his hat trick from a penalty.
After this game Nicklas Bendtner was commented as the most valuable player for the Gunners who helped them securing a quarter final spot in the Champions League.
