The second leg of the Champions League was played at Camp Nou in between Barcelona and Arsenal which was quite one sided as the magical Messi grabbed all 4 goals in their 4-1 victory to put the Catalans through to the semi.
It was quite a bit surprise from the beginning as Barca coach Guardiola again left Thiery Henry on the bench and started with Bojan replacing Ibrahimovic and having Gabriel Millito,Rafael Marquez
and Abidal as the changes from the first leg.For Gunners the changes are Theo Walcott,Mikael Silvester and Denilson replacing the injured Fabregas,Gallas and Song.
After the first leg finished with a 2-2 draw the Spanish club began the game with having 2 away goal advantages. They started dominating from the first minute and it took less then 10 minutes to create their first goal which was stopped by Almunia.
But surprisingly it was the English club who started the scoring as Nicklas Bendtner scored on his second attempt with the assist from Theo Wallcot which surpasses Victor Valdes with ease.
The defending champions came back just after three minutes to equalize as the Argentine striker Messi scored from far distance out by getting the ball from Mikael Silvester.
The English side was on tremendous pressure as they hardly created any chances after their first goal.Lionel Messi took advantage of the pressure and netted the ball again on 37 minute with the
pass from Pedro.
The Argentine scored his hat-trick just before half time as he find himself through the English defence on the 42 minutes.
Coming from the dressing room after the first half it was still Messi who was looking unstoppable. The Gunners tried hard to create any opportunity but it was their keeper who remain bussy most the time.
On the 85th minute Rosicky got a free header from the Dibay cross which had gone as a waste.Messi proved again why he is the best in the world as he scored his fourth of the night on the 88th minute by putting the ball into the net through the legs of Almunia.
On the end of the night the Spaniard won it 4-1 and go through to the semis with an aggregate of 6-3.
