Some moments to watch with in for 80 years of world cup history

The world cup's 80th day of born will be celebrated with a moment of glory as South Africa becomes the first country from Africa to be bestowed with honour of hosting arguably the greatest sporting event this year.

Eight years after Asia successfully welcomed the world in Japan and South Korea now it is the time for Bafana Bafana nation where football is on a rising structure and where top African players are now playing their trade in football's elite championships.

In 1930 the tentative start was given by Uruguay who hosted the the biggest gathering of the craziest game and won it for a superb history.

The highest number of the balls were netted in the 1954 and 1974 world cup where it came to a disappointing end for the best sides like Hungary and Holland.

When the chat is about the glory the moment which millions of die hard fans will never forget and English fans will never try to look back is the two goals of the player of the century Diego Maradona in 1986 quarter finals against England known as Hand of God and Goal of the Century.
The match which etched it self into the best of all the 80 years of tournament history the semifinal between the West Germany and Italy in 1970 which ended 3-4.
